How to approach a Local MP ? Please HELP.

Hi all.....
I would like to reach out to the local MP and seek some help regarding my closed WP, its been 160 days and there is no update yet.
I have travel plans coming up so I'm little worried.
Can someone here please guide me how to approach them.

Cal or email and say explain what help you need. Explain that current processing times for WP within Canada are around 170 days, and you are within current times but you need an answer on status.

They may say that you are within current times so nothing they can do at this time.

Given your application wait time seems to be consistent with others applying not sure what you think your MP can do. They will likely just tell you it is being processed and to be patient which you already know. MPs can sometimes be helpful for follow-up when processing times are much longer than other applicants but that is not your case.
