I am helping a friend to shift her visit visa to student, she already has been accepted and enrolled to a DLI school. Is this okay and which IMM forms do we fill up? Thanks for the help!
She doesn’t “shift” her visa. She is applying for a study permit and it is processed outland. She pays first year tuition, shows $21k minimum, shows career/education progression to justify costs and ties to home country. Applying as a visitor weakens her ties to home country so make sure she shows strong ties.
