How to Apply for workpermit while inside Canada

hi all new to this
I just got a job offer with LMO and contract (live-in caregive)
how do I apply from here ( Canada )
how do I deal with this Bio Metrics thing?

any help will appreciated ;D

You can't apply from within Canada for live-in caregiver. You must apply through the visa office of your home country.

Yes, you can mail in your paper application to CIC New York (not the VAC). CIC in New York processes application with valid visitor visa in Canada. Are you in Alberta as a tourist? The only thing is if you are called for an interview (which I hope not), you must have a US visa to go to NY....also, you mentioned Biometrics, are you from a country which need biometrics?

Hi I'm from the Phillipines.

I'm already inside canada as a visitor, i entered last December and I submit my apllication for open work permit and extension for visitor.

Do i need to give my biometrics because this is what bothers me.
