How to apply for Open WP when CEC PR is in progress ?

Hi, My spouse is on an Intra company transferee WP valid till Oct'11. I am on an Open WP ( as a dependent ) for the same period. We have applied for a PR under Canadian Exp Class this June with my spouse as the primary applicant. Can I apply for open WP after the PR application is approved in principle ? Or anytime afterwards ?

No, your OWP is tied to your spouses TWP.
