They're looking for proof that it's genuine. Maybe talk about trips you've been on together, or important milestones in your relationship. This is the place to be sappy and tell CIC that you really love each other and can back that up.
I wouldn't recommend writing a 100 page dissertation, but they are asking for details, so you should definitely give some. I talked to someone on here that submitted two essays of their relationship details, one from each partner's point of view, but I also spoke to a member who wrote three lines in that box and got approved. But I'd really recommend being safe over sorry.

A question before that asks about the outings and trips, so we didn't think it was necessary to write them all out again. What we did is write a paragraph basically explaining our relationship, e.g. the date we got together, how long we've been together, the fact that all our families know about our relationship. Also added a bit of passion in there. Basically we just summed up what all the other questions asked.
