How soon the medical is updated through webform

My medical was supposed to get expired on 3rd oct, 2024. I reapplied on 14th june. so my file is in process. I did upfront re medical on 18th September, 2024 and submitted the documents via webform. the visa officer didn't check the webform and issued a medical request on 21st oct. again raised a webform. since it was more than 20days and no action was taken, agent suggested to do a medical based on new request received. no center allowed to take retest. as it was done only on 18th sept. now the file is in hold.no response. so there is no update in file. 1) when can I get an update through webform 2)can my file be on hold for more than 6mnths now? 3) what will be my next line of action

Lately, it has been slower. I suggest calling IRCC and ask them regarding this!

No need to repeat medical. The consultant that suggested this is providing bad advice. Advise IRCC via webform that you did upfront medical and wait. Medicals are reviewed to see if additional tests are necessary which can take time.
