How soon have you have to submit Passport after passport request

Hi Everyone:
I'm wondering how long do you have to submit your passport after you get the passport request? I'm planning to go out of country for vacation and want to get a timeline. Thanks.

really??? thats the first time am hearing that... usually its 30 days.... whats your timeline?
