I was sent a request for an updated Schedule A on June 11 and was unable to upload on GCKey because it never prompted me to upload the doc/no doc request. I contacted them via 2 webforms--the first one was answered nearly 4 weeks later, and did nothing but direct me to links in the help centre asking for you to send in a help request via webform. The second was never answered. I finally uploaded the requested doc on June 28, knowing that I'd never get a straight answer.

Today I got an "overdue" request for the doc in my GCKey. Thank goodness at least there was a request to upload there this time. However, I'm quite concerned that I provided the document well in advance of the due date, and still they have no record of it, even after having it for several weeks.

I'd like to follow up on this but am not sure what to do. I don't want to bother calling for 3 weeks only to get a call centre rep who has no information. Is there a way to email the visa office directly (Mississauga)? Needless to say I'm a little put off that a lot of time on my file is potentially wasted. Any advice?

Doesn't sound like there is anything to follow up on. Just upload the Schedule A into that slot on your Gckey.

When they requested it and there wasn't a slot on your online account, you could have just immediately submitted it via the webform instead (that's one of the main purposes of the webform). When you say you finally uploaded it on June 28, do you mean you sent it in via the webform? It can take a number of days for documents submitted via webform to reach the appropriate office, plus sometimes people don't select the right option (for example, choosing "document replacement" will not ever get the document where it's supposed to go). Wouldn't be the first time something was submitted via webform and they supposedly never got it. This process almost never goes smoothly, there's no reason for you to talk to anybody, just re-upload and hope this will be the last hiccup :)

Yeah, I sent it via webform and followed the instructions they sent me on the request letter (select Sponsorship, not doc replacement, etc.). I wanted to avoid webform because it seems that they aren't able to keep up with it in a timely fashion so I had waited from the 11th to the 28th hoping that I'd hear from them and they'd add the request for me to upload via GCKey (and someone on here advised for me to wait and try not to use webform, so that was in the back of my head). Oh well, hopefully this will be the end of the issue. Thanks. :)
