How should I answer the following question for education history

Complete/full academic years
If I had also studied ESL program for one year prior to my program, should I also add those years?
For example, if I completed 3 years for that program, should I answer 4 for that question?
If I also did internships for the programs, should I also include the years for the internship?
For example, if I completed 4 years for a program (for taking courses only), and also 1 years of internship, should I answer 5 for that question?

If you are filling out ITA (EE Application) you only claim points and mention education with ECA or canadian all the rest is mentioned in personal history only where which one do not claim points for.
