How much to show when Landing

Dear Seniors,

when i filled my forms, i had shown 13,000CAD. Now i want to ask that when i land there do i need to show all the 13,000 or can i show the minimum ie 11,700CAD.

either way what is the most cost effective way to take my money there, or just to show the immigration officer that i have the money ??

If only were the applicant and you are landing then minimum show 11086 CAD.
Minimum as applicable below.

Number of family members Funds required

1 $11,086

2 $13,801

3 $16,967

4 $20,599

5 $23,364

6 $26,350

7 or more $29,337

The most cost affective way would be to carry cash. Whatever method you choose the money has to be accessible in Canada.

No Maximum limits, just remember to declare at landing, otherwise you may charged into prison or pay a fine , good luck.

Wth AEO you should not asked to show POF, I think. If you want to carry more money there should not be any problem. Otherwise you can ask your bank's foreign exchange deptt. about that.

if you carry more thn 10,000 you have to declear this amount at airport wit source of income.

dotn carry more than 10,000 in cash .. take atravellers check or draf for rest of them.
