the government is famous for taking it's sweet time,if you have a file /case # you should be able to find out more online at immigration canada or at the website of the embassy of sponsorship-if it is in your home country? Good luck

You can get your husband to contact his MP and ask him/her to query about your case to Ottawa.. perhaps they can tell you something..

we have tried all means to contact them (through email, MP has also written to them), but all the time we hv got one answer that we are processing ur application. They never tell wat they r doing or how much time they will take to decide. I dont understand is that normal process or is there anything wrong with my applictaion. Why they did enquiry??? It was a genuine marriage, all cermonies were performed, our age, qualification etc etc everything matches.

Your MP's office can contact the processing Visa office on your behalf and enquire about the status of your case. I guess it just carries more weight if a minister of parliament makes the enquiry for you, and from what I'm hearing on this forum, they usually get a response. Personally, we've tried several methods of trying to contact the London visa office without success. So my wife recently contacted her MP recently, and we'll see if we get a response that way.
