Hi

I am kind of surprised at the fact that you do not know which Canadian High Commission (CHC) is processing your application. Perhaps your lawyer filled in the application on your behalf and forgot to tell you which office they requested your application to be processed at.

As the Federal Skilled Worker Application Guide EG7 guide suggests, an applicant can request their application to be processed at either the CHC that serves their country of origin (Nationality) or the country the applicant has been admitted to for a period of a year or more. This is how an Indian (with an Indian Passport) living in Singapore with a work permit/student visa (or any other immigration status but still holding an Indian Passport) valid for a year or more can choose to apply to the CHC in New Delhi or the CHC in Singapore.

Nonetheless, to get a clearer picture of your processing times, you might actually want to know which CHC is processing your application. For example, some CHCs are little less burdened than others and thus, as an example, the CHC at New Delhi usually decides applications faster than most others. If you know where your application is being processed at you can make an estimate about your processing times by looking at the timelines of similar applicants from your region/same CHC at for example Trackitt.

Why don't you ask your lawyer if its New Delhi or not. But that said, if you have never lived outside India, your CHC is necessarily New Delhi and there is really no point in making this enquiry at all.

anyways, perhaps I was just babbling here (in which case, many apologies!)

Goodluck anyways!
