Hi all,
I am staying in Canada for the last 1 year and I have received an ITA due to the points that have been added in my profile for completing 1 year in Canada on Work Permit (exempted from an LMIA) and getting a job offer from the same company. At the time of creating my profile, for the question - "How much money will you bring to Canada", I replied as 20000 CAD as I have a family of 3.
Now while I am submitting my PR application, since I dont have that many funds in account, I want to understand can I reply to the question "How much money will you bring to Canada" as Zero as I have Job Offer (Exempted from an LMIA). In this scenario, system is not asking me to provide proof of funds. But I can mention that in my Letter of Explanation that since I have a Job Offer and I am working in Canada for the last one year, the question is not valid for me and hence I responded 0. I can off course attach bank statement letter for the last 6 months with LoE.
Or should I I reply to the question "How much money will you bring to Canada" as a minimum amount lets say 2000 dollars that I have in my account right now. That will add "Proof of funds" in my document section and then I can provide bank letter as proof of funds.
