How much money to carry for FSW

Hi all,

I have recently got my PR as FSW and will be landing in Toronto next month. Can anyone please tell me MUST I have to carry CAD 11200 to clear the immigration?

Yes, it is mandatory for you to carry 11,200/- (as disclosed in application). It can be partly cash and partly DD.

It seems after a long wait u have got ur medicals and u r eagerly waiting for ur PPR and lastly wanting to land in Canada. I will request u to think over to leave ur job with Fine Paper at Jebel Ali Port and come over to Canada. I did a very big mistake of quitting my job with Emirates Airlines and coming here to Canada. I still have a option since my boss is willing to take me back in Emirates, Dubai. Don;t get excited as life here is damn shit compared to Dubai. Forget all the big things people like Qorax put up regarding Canada.
Qorax is not working here for any company. He runs a security guard business in Missisauga where there are many factories and he pays these guards $ 11/- whereas he must be getting more from the hiring companies. So he can give big baashan about Canada. Come here face the hardship and u will realise Dubai was a real heaven.
All networking etc is bull shit as no one cares a shit for u here. People like EXPLORER seeing my post after a year might step in to comment but just leave that foolish sardar's words as he is handicapped and getting disability benefits hence he might be happy here wherein if he was in India our govt will not care for him as there are lakhs like him.
I just can't see any post frm PITTABREAD with whom u had a bitter fight. Maybe he got a rejection and vanished.
Still u r safe in Dubai.

As we all here to live our life peacefully and the forum is to discuss the issues we face during and after the immigration process.. NO PERSONAL attack on any members PLEASE.
