Around $15,000 assuming you are single and factoring in the fees you have to pay and funds you need to show to prove you can pay for your own settlement in Canada.
Can I pay %50 first and when I get there I pay the remaining balance. And what is the cost if I’m going with my wife and child? Thanks
As replied that amount is for single applicant. It's more with family. (spouse and child)
And that amount is the fund available not something you paid to IRCC. (except some fees)
No, you can't pay half first. You must have all of it up front.
If you have a wife and child then you need to have $20,000 in savings and you'll need a few thousand dollars extra for fees.
You need to show proof of funds for the total number of people in your family with at least 6 months of bank statements. So that is $20,471 Cdn. That amount is mandatory. In addition, PR fees are on the IRCC website but that doesn’t include fees for ECA, biometrics and language tests.

If you are asking how much money you must have for Canada to consider you under the rules of Express Entry program, then the answer is 20,371 CAD for a family of 3 people. You must have this money before you apply and you must be able to produce a bank statement showing that you have these funds. This requirement is waived if you have secured a job offer in Canada. You cannot just pay to come to Canada under Express Entry. Express Entry is an immigration program with strict rules, and Canadian government decides who can come. If someone tells you that you can pay to come to live in Canada, they are lying to you and trying to scam you.
