how much education loan

Sir,
The course i have opted is electromechanical engineering technician, it costs 13,806 CAD per annum.
please, tell me how much education loan i must show that include 80% (tution fee for 1 year+living expenses +air fares) under spp rules
Also, do i need to some 20% liquid money to make my case strong
so that visa officer do not object on limited fund.

i am eagerly waiting for all my seniors expert guidance.

a good course, with a wide opportunities.
first of all there is no 80% such thing at present.
take ur first year fee +10k $ loan , thats enough.



note: these are my views inside the box. how ever there is not mentioned about bank loan any where except that 10k$ thingं. contact other sources. good luck

thank for ur reply mam,
in my case if we pay half tution fee by ourself and half through loan
and just attach receipt of full payment and 9 lac edu loan(living expenses+half tution fee)
will it be ok for visa officer and will he grant visa to me with no objections on funds

yes one of my frd also did same thing ,, firstly hi paid 1st sem fee and got loan letter of 10 lacs,, when he come to knw about rules changed then he paid his further sem fee from loan and 6.5 lac also left .. and he got a letter from bank that 2nd sem fee paid from loan and left money for living expenses..
and if ur overall profile is gud except any fake thing they ll definitely give u visa.and according to me somewhere luck also plays role ..

u have to pay first year fee(1sem+ 2nd sem) and show 10000$ (loan or GIC)

actully i was rejected for visa in last intake under spp, so i have to apply under general category. so i cant buy a GIC.
i have 1 year course, fees oh whole 1year is $17000.

according to new rules for general student :-
you can fulfill the financial requirement by submitting a copy of an Educational Loan from an Indian Chartered Bank equivalent to at least first year’s tuition plus $10 000 CAD to cover living and travel expenses for one year. See information on the following page for the list of acceptable banks.
