How much do IELTS Scores Affect your Application Points

How much does IELTS affect your application? especially with about 1 year experience (will apply after 1 year) within the preferred age, 29? Will adding a masters boost my scores above 450 with one year experience and no spouse? I will appreciate your responses.

IELTS plays a very important role in your CRS score, therefore I would suggest you to target CLB 9 (LRWS - 8777). You can try these values in the calculators here and see for yourself how much of a difference IELTS makes to your CRS score.

I calculated with the second app but got 241, but in the CIC website when I used all their marks against each point I got 332 without adding spouse's factor because spouse is writing ielts in April. But am just wondering why am having different scores? My ielts is LRWS = 6.5/7/6.5/7. Is this test score too low?

You can rely on the CIC tool. Try inputting LRWS 8777 in the tool and see how much of a difference it makes to your score. Try improving your IELTS score, it will boost your CRS score.
