How much an Indian CA/US CPA can get as a starting salary in Canada

Hi Friends,

I have recently joined this community. It is really a great source of information for all aspiring candidates planning to move to Canada.

I am an Indian CA and have also done CPA from Colorado, USA last year. I am planning to immigrate to Canada. I have the following two questions.

(1) Would my CPA add an advantage alongwith CA to get a good job in Canada.

(2) How much I can expect to get as a starting salary in Canada...considering that I have 5+years of post qualification experience.

Welcome into this forum.

At the foremost u must Be Aware that this field is a highly regulated profession in Canada. Thus, w/out enhancing your skills with a Canadian qualification u'll not achieve much [anything] here.

1. Would the CPA be an advantage? Yes, any addnl qual is good. But, u cannot ride only on it in Canada.
