How many years for US Student Visa as a Canadian PR?

Hello, I am currently a Canadian PR and a F1-visa student in the US. I planned to return to my home country, Vietnam, to apply for a new student visa. Is it true that with a Canadian PR you get 10 years in your new US visa regardless of your home country?
