I received the Medicals requests for my new-born child (ours were done last year and have been granted extension) which was just form IMM1017 (Biodata and Summary page) alongwith 4 photos (one of which was stamped by Visa Office) and the Instructions page.

The Instructions said that FOUR photos are required but when I went to the Panel Physician he said that per new medicals instructions only ONE photo is required and he returned the other 3 photos to me saying that these are not required now.

Now I’m in doubt if the physician was wrong about the no. of photos and that CIC may ask the photos from me again and further delay the process? Anyone knows if it is FOUR photos or ONE photo?

A new-born child’s medical is really simple with no blood tests or X-rays required. So I assume that it will also be processed in less than 3 months by Ottawa Regional Medical Office of CIC? Anyone knows of how long a new-born’s medical take to process and then send approval to Visa Office?

Thanks for your replies in advance.
