How many Perm residents go back to country of origin?

How many permanent residents / landed immigrants end up going back to country of origin? the real numbers?

does anybody know? if you get a better opportunity with a scholarship to a master's degree in another country that is not Canada after landing is it worth going back after all the effort of coming to Canada?

Every case is different and they are assessed differently, every PR situation is different and therefore cannot be generalized. Maybe the government knows but they may not make this news public due to bad publicity. Either ways should you decide to come here as a PR that should not affect your judgement
