How many days will be given to submit passport after PPR email?

Hi ,
I'm currently living in Canada in BOWP status and i hope i'll get PPR request for my PR application by this month or next month(Aug 2016).Meanwhile ,i'm planning visit my home country for a month vacation.
Can anyone please let me know within how many days we need to submit the passport,once we received the PPR request email ?

CIC might be able to extend the 30 days period. This is what the PPR e-mail says:

"If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with details concerning your situation."
