how many days should one wait before applying for citizenship once eligible

Hi guys ,
(I know the matter has been probably discussed in this forum, but I could not find it)
I am eligible for citizenship today, but would like to wait at least 30 days before applying.
My question is: will waiting that long before applying would positively impact my file at IRCC level and lessen any chance of RQ issuance or will it be the same as if I am applying tomorrow?
Any input would be greatly appreciated or anyone that applied with a few days margin?

Giving yourself a window of extra days is generally a good idea. How much window do you need? That probably depends on how sure you are of your absence dates. Thirty days is probably good if you are absolutely certain when you were gone, but a few mistakes here and there can eat up those thirty days pretty quickly, if you are not entirely sure of the dates of trips.

It's up to you. Usually 2+ months is a good choice. I gave myself 2 months buffer.

Having sufficient buffer like 1-2 months is always recommended before applying for citizenship but one cannot say it will reduce RQ chances. Since its dependent on many factors .follow below thread on RQ trigger.

A lot of it also depends on how often you traveled outside Canada and if you have a history of continuous full-time employment in Canada. If you haven't traveled much and have a strong employment record, I think like 2 weeks or so is fine. If you have a lot of travel abroad or do not have a history of full-time employment (or both), then a month or more would be good.

But having any buffer at all is a good idea in general. Too many people have applied with like a 1-2 day buffer and got into trouble with miscalculated days or IRCC feeling they are cutting it close and hassling them for more proofs.
