How long will it take to get response after I send out my application?

I know a lot of people must have asked this question, but I just couldn't find any answers about this, so I would ask again!

I am living in the US, how long will it take to get response from CIC since I send my application? (The response that requires supporting documents).

i presume you are talking about the response from Sydney.

I might get my dates wrong by +-2 days but I think I sent mine on Dec 10, and got a response by Jan 14th. Remember this included Christmas break, New Years break and I did send my through normal post.

If you want more data, you can also look at www.trackitt.com. Most people who have AOR dates after say jan 2009, is probably indicating their Sydney timelines (probably but not definitely).
