How long to wait after background check in progress

Hi Guys,
so today i got an email about status update for my application.When i checked my status A background check is needed is now In Progress.

Following are the details from my application

Where is this application? Details
Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed In Progress changed today as on 13 july 2016
Final decision Not Started


i submitted my application on 29 feburary 2016.no updates were done to my application till today.i have requested GCMS Notes but it will take another 25 days.

Can you guys let me know how much more time i have to wait till i get passport request.

I dont wanna disappoint u but it might take from one day to 8 months or even more. I hope u get PPR in one day
