How long to get the visa after interview?

Hi. I have a couple of questions:
A). If they call for an interview, do they usually call for the interview after requesting the passport or they call for the interview requesting you to bring the passport along?
B). For those who were interviewed or know someone: How long does it take for them to stamp the visa in the passport after you had the interview? does it usually take place right there in the interview?

mjsantos,i was asked to go for medical test after my interview.the result of the medical test will determine if u will be given the visa,the results takes 3months x above to come.cheers

Some times they donot intrview and ask candidates to get the midical done. So visa is issued after completion of the entire process including medical.
