How long time reconsideration take ?

I appeal for my mother PR as it was refused due to missing medical of my father. With reconsideration we attached my father medical. Application has been accepted by CIC in September 2024. So any idea how long time I have to wait for CIC decision.

There are no timelines for reconsideration. Reconsideration is if there is an error in law, not due to missing documentation. All you can do is wait and see. You will get a note if they re-open your file and start processing it. The application most likely was closed because she didn’t provide all the correct documentation. IRCC guidelines state that if file is incomplete it is cancelled and closed. You were not eligible for reconsideration because you didn’t provide all requested information. What did your lawyer say?
