How long it takes to receive the application invitation

I filled in the materials in CIC account and will submit the materials to put my case in pool for selection. I wonder how long it generally take for CIC to issue application inviation or refusal notice? a few weeks?

You mean how long it will to get an ITA? If yes, then it depends how much your score is. If this is not what you asked for then your question is not clear. You are about to enter the pool and you're asking about invitation and refusal at the same time.
