How long for CEC to contact you confirming they are processing PR application

Hi there,

We wanted to find out for bridging our IEC with a CEC how long does it take for CEC to get back to you from when the paperwork was sent off to say they have it and are processing it?

Any info would be much appreciated to see if there is any point in us doing it.

If I understand your question correctly CIC usually takes anywhere from 45-60 days to issue AOR. You can apply for BOWP without the AOR using the paper application route that buys you time. The paper application takes about 41 days to process and you can send your BOWP application package while waiting for AOR so that by the time CIC starts processing your BOWP application you would have received the AOR for your CEC application.

Thanks for feedback. Looks like the process will take to long. Our visa expires next month and we originally done PNP but its not looking good so thought we may have time to do CIC.
