How long for address to update with CIC

Sent a email to CIC informing them of my address change which is now in Canada. Does anyone know how long it will take to update on the system?

Need to apply for BOWP ASAP but need the address to be updated so they see when processing it that I am now currently residing in country and not the old UK address.

If you change the address to an address in Canada, you can do it online in ECAS.
Email can take up to 20 days.
