How long does it take to send passport after decision has been made?

How long does it take to send passport after your status has been changed from in process to decision made? Mine was changed on last saturday.. I am still waiting for my passport..

It really varies. Some got theirs the next day and some got it a month after. If it doesn't get to you after two weeks or a months after DM, you can try to email your VO to follow up.

The visa officer may have requested a medical extension for you.

AS long as you have a visa, and the PR, it should be fine.
I have heard of VO refusing to issue visa for people with passports expiring soon, but if the embassy issues your visa, then it shouldn't be a problem at the border.

Thanks Sweden for your reply..my next question would be I have updated my india mailing address a month ago..I am wondering where would embassy send my passport back with visa on it..How would I know if they have updated my address..Cauz on estatus there is a my candian consultant address on it and my fill is in new Delhi..

you be should getting PP in the indian mailing address.In similar cases applicant have received call from CHC fr confirming address or to collect in person.hope you get PP soon.if you find major delay write urgent or call CHC

If you check your status in ECAS using your (sponsored person) Application file number or UCI number (and not the sponsor's UCI number), then you should be able to see your mailing address.
If you use the sponsor's UCI number, you only see the Canadian mailing address.

yes it worked.but both sides it's canadian address.one side is my house address and other side my consultant..I cannot see indian mailing address anywhere..How would i know if they are going to send my passport in canada or india..i also updated my india mailing address to them last month..How would i know if they updated it or not.. please help

Hi, I got requested for my passport this past Monday, and the letter stated my visa was issued until September I also had to submit an arc 2 months ago and I thought It had been cleared out of the way since they requested my passport. However reading your post I see it could still be being processed even if they requested my passport. Do you think mine is still being processes even though they gave me a date of when my visa would expire?
