How long does it take to put the stamp on my passport after they grant my visa?

Hey guys

I applied online for a temporary residency visa from within Ottawa. Hopefully i will be asked to mail in my passport for them to put the stamp on it. My question is, after you get your acceptance, and once they ask you to mail in your passport, how much time will it take them to send it back? Is there any way i can expedite it?
p.s: i'm asking about the time it will take for CIC to put the stamp on my passport after they made their decision and not the time for them to make the decision.
If i get my acceptance on July 25th will i make my august 4th flight??

It depends on where your passport will be processed, as for us here in the Philippines, it took 3 business days after we sbumitted our passport at VFS.

I had applied on the 6th of July and was asked to send my passport today to the Ottawa office. I used the ExpressPost option from Canada Post. I hope to receive it soon as I have a flight to catch next week. However, in your case you have enough time as the processing days for online extension has come down to 11 days (excluding document mailing time)

Thank you, I checked my CIC status and it shows as closed with my TRV approved. I hope they dispatch my passport today. I am sure you will receive yours soon enough

Hi,

I received the passport request on 16th July, I sent it via ExpressPost the same day.
It reached Ottawa on the the 17th of July, found it to be approved on the 21st of July. It has been dispatched today via ExpressPost(checked my tracking detail just now) and I hope to receive it tomorrow on the 22nd of July
