How long does it take to prepare documents for common-law spousalship through lawyer?

Hello,

I am applying for PR through common-law through an immigration lawyer. Does anyone have any ideas how long it should take the lawyer to prepare the documents once received from me? It's been a couple weeks and I am concerned how slow it is going.

Hello,

It should generally take a week or so provided all the documents are ready from your side.
It may also depend upon the workload of the company.
