how long does it take to get the passport back

I was asked to submit the passport. I'm wondering how long it will take to get the passport back.
And with the returned passport, the next thing I should do is landing, isn't it? Thanks.

Took 2 weeks from the time they received my passport to the time i got it in the mail.

Yes, ideally you should land as soon as possible as the PR card would take another 4-8 weeks to get to you AFTER you land.
