How long does it really take?

Applied in July, medical done today.
I thought it would be a year but see many are processed a lot faster?
Would it depend on where the applicants are from?
Im just wondering what to expect as I have a job interview tomorrow for January, and we will start our baby at a daycare etc... wondering if we should just wait if the odds are big we will get PPR a lot faster??

There's really no point in speculating as it's impossible to say. Aim for the 12 month target and if anything comes faster than that, be pleasantly surprised.
