How long does a visa extention take / Am I able to stay?

Hi guys

I've applied for a visa extention on January 20th and wondered how long it takes to get a result and if I'm able to stay in Canada during that time, as my stay permit expires on February 17th, until I get the final decition.

I am going to apply soon my parents applications, So do i have to apply separate for my father and mother application, i mean send to embassy with separate envelope and documents and bank statement?

Depends on how you are applying. If you are applying together one envelope, if not separate envelopes and documents.

Its better to apply separately and online is faster than paper application.
