How long did you wait to reply back to the PR Portal email?

Just curious, has anyone replied to the first PR Portal email requesting confirmation of presence in Canada 3 weeks or more after receiving it?

There dont seem to be any guidelines regarding how long we have to respond. Has anyone had any issues obtaining the PR due to late reply? Do IRCC try to follow up?

Why don’t you just reply and say you may have such and such plan coming up and ask for a slight delay for portal 2? As far as I know if you don’t apply IRCC may send you a gckey msg of the same they won’t refuse your application right away but personally it’s a risk I don’t want to take.

I think they ask to reply within 7 days

"Please provide the requested information within 7 calendar days to ensure there are no undue delays."
