Just wondering what other people's experiences where? I filed for my extension as a visitor. I sent the application, all my needed files with the receipt and had it expedited (arrived by April 14th) My passport says my stay is up on May 14th, so once that date roles around i'll be on Implied status. I know there are current processing times (I think its about 2 months for my extension approval right now) Just wondering, how long did it take if you got an extension, before CIC responded? If you get denied, how long are you given until you must be out?
Another question, does CIC send you a notice that they got your application (all done by mail) before they process it? I guess I fear it will sit in a pile for a while and May 14th will come and go and somehow i'll be here "illegally" as they haven't gotten to it yet (I guess that's a silly fear tho! lol)
