How long can you go out of Canada on PR card ?

I am PR card resident, and planning to go to India for approximately 7-8 months. However I am also on Odsp benefits, and I would like to find out what is maximum amount of months of overseas visit abroad? Will I loose my benefits if stay longer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can be away for 30 days maximum for ODSP benefits unless you get approval from ODSP to be away for more than 30 days.

If you leave Ontario for more than 30 days without getting approval, they will classify this as an overpay and come after you to repay this money. Depending on how long you are away without notifying them, they may also end up entirely suspending your benefits and you will have to wait a while before getting them back once you have returned.

So the short answer is 30 days for ODSP.

Is it possible to suspend the benefits for the duration of holiday purpose from odsp?
