HOW LONG CAN JUDICIAL REVIEW TAKE ?

Please how long do you think judicial review can take. ? My case was settled out of court and i resubmitted on 13th of July . Any ideas please.

wow! I have never heard of anyone going for a judicial review. Can you please elaborate the background of what happened? I would really like to know how you got to this point.

It was just curiosity as I know i never misrepresent myself to warrant been banned for 5 yrs. I went for judicial review and they settled out of court,the decision of the VO was set aside and sent back for re-determination by another VO so am still waiting

How did you go around doing that? I mean how does one start a judicial review.

On another note, as far as I understand, this is something like re-submitting a fresh application. I presume the amount of time taken will be the same for new applications. How many weeks is it for your country?

Its same application: but you will need to submit fresh evident against whatever you are alleged with. I had been on the journey since November last year 2015 but am relieved been banned for 5yrs is like prison sentence.

Out of curiosity, what was it that was alleged that you misrepresented?

Am from Nigerian and working in South Africa...................so at a point (2010) my PR in south africa was withdrawn due to divorce and was cancelled on my passport so the VO termed it as a fraudulent permit all explanation I gave fell behind her ears reason why i went for JR though its expensive but am glad of the result dat my name had been cleared.
