Scylla is absolutely right. Your PR card will expire in 5 years, and you will have to reapply shortly before the card expires. You have to be present at the very least 730 days in Canada when you apply to renew your PR card. When you reapply, IRCC will determine if you've been physically present for at least 730 days out of the last five years.
