Hello everyone
I applied for Canadian citizenship about 8 months back. CIC started processing my application about two weeks ago (I already got the aknowledgment letter and guide). I have to leave Canada soon so, I wonder how long does it take between writing the citizenship test and having the citizenship certificate. I am trying to see if I can come once to do both at the same time (or stay for a week or so if they are so close).
Thanks a lot guys, any help is greatly appreciated.

Between 3 to 4 months if you pass
between 6 to 8 months if you fail at that point you have to appear in front of a judge for an interview

Wrote the test in April 2009 but haven't received an oath letter or any notification as to whether I passed or failed the test. What must I do? :-X It has been 13 months already. Checked in with CIC and all I got was "in process" status. :'(

Go to your local office if possible and ask them. It's harder to brush you off if you are standing there in person. Maybe they can't tell you anything further but it's worth a try.
