How Long Between Additional Document Submission and Passport Request?

Hello Friends,

Here is our situation. The Buffalo Visa office requested that my wife get FBI clearance that was not included with our original application. We went over our allotted 120 days because her first set of prints where denied.

We finally got the FBI clearance papers and submitted them last week.

Does anyone have any idea from this point how long it will take to get her Passport Request letter?

I'm having a hard time finding people in a similar situation. I'm still hoping for a reply.

I submitted mine to them, USPS says they got it 9/23, but last week I got a letter in the mail dated 10/15 ASKING for the certificate.
I emailed them and got a reply, that HeatherUSA said she got as well in a similar situation and got her decision made on ECAS 3 weeks later.

Just a little over 2 weeks since we sent our FBI cert to Buffalo.
