Hello, February Applicant here, I had my medicals completed and passed in April, currently my app has been sitting in Los Angeles for the last 5+ months. I remember reading somewhere about medicals being good for a year and usually the last date you can enter Canada with your PPR is a year from your medical exam. If an application is still in progress after this date will they expect you to get another medical done?

Medicals are good for 1 year, they will either extend your medical or ask you to redo it if you're getting close to expiry. Depends on the situation/officer.

Medical is usually 1 year expiry. But what I read here is they do extend medical for an extra year if expiring soon be4 they issue Visa.
