How long after submitting RQ documents should I contact the MP or Request ATIP?

Contacting MP and ATIP request doesn't help at all. ATIP you will able to see your file status but CIC's notes on files sometime hard to understand that case no help. MP doesn't do much they just send request to find out about the status of file and CIC tell them status as in process also MP doesn't have authority to speed the process. Still you can contact to your MP just to satisfy yourself that you tried every possible mean to process your file faster.

CIC received my additional docs today (photocopies of all pages passport). It's not RQ, let see how long it takes my app to be IN PROCESS.

Any inputs?
