How long a PR visa is valid....within how many days should i reach Canada after getting the Visa

Hi guys

I have reached the stage where I was asked to submit my passport at the Canada High commission, New delhi for final Visa stamping process.
I would like to thank all of you in the forum for you valuable advises and guidances, without which I would not have been able to move forward.

There is a one more small doubt that requires your help with. I wish to know how long the PR visa stamped in my passport would be valid. As I have just submitted the passport, I still have not seen how long the visa would be valid. Within how many days after the visa is stamped in my passport should I reach Canada. Does it vary from person to person or country to country.

Usually its valid until your medical is, which is 1 year from the date you took it. The CoPR will state the expiry date.

Count one year from your medical exam regardless of how you are and where you are from.

oh ok....so it all depends on the date of medicals.....
