university of york is in UK however if ur talking about YORK UNIVERSITY then it depends on your course for example york university have shulich buisness school,it is among top 10 business schools of world.there LAW is school is one of the largest and oldest law school of canada.
overall it is good university,admission is very compititive and for there business school and law school you require 7 bands in ielts and for all other 6.5 bands will work. btw I am going to this university for bachelors! ,,i can help you if u want to apply to this uni ,but only for undergraduate degree . for masters you need really very good academics + work experience+ 7.5 ielts

BBA (Hons) in Finance 4 years
Experience in Accountancy 6 years

You can try, but i would suggest you to also apply in couple of other unis too. Best of luck

yes brother I know,but to maximise you chances of getting into any uni,you should apply to more unis.
there is no problem in getting into york,just apply IA u will get admission. best of luck

I got admission in bachelors degree,I applied through http://www.ouac.on.ca/ which is common application centre for all ontario unis.

online application form,first submit it,within 2 3 weeks they will send you acknowledgement E-mail and after that just send all of you required documents. you will apply using https://apps4.sis.yorku.ca/Apps/WebObjects/GRAP.woa/wa/grad

I paid no fees, only $85 towards application fees was paid,they send LOA through registered courier ,within 5 days after getting offer.
it took 6 weeks for me but i think for masters it will take more than that.

yes I have filed my case few days back.
I was exempted from IELTS because of my GCE A levels and O levels, but I still gave ielts and got 6.5( did not provided to university) bcs I gave it late.
