How is the process of entering canada with a study visa in Toronto?

Me and my husband are landing in Toronto Pearson International Airport, he with a study visa and me with a open work visa. What is the process of getting the permits and entering Canada? Do they make a few questions as usual or do we have to prove financial resources and etc again?

You will be sent to a second immigration check upon your arrival where the border officer will ask you some general questions and issue the study permit. However, they can and might ask to see some documentation so make sure you carry copies of LOA, proof of funds, housing proof (if any) for your stay in Toronto and ofcourse the approval letter from CIC.
