Hi All please explain

1, when we go to the judge how is the days of absence counted, when we g and apply to for the citizenship
2, we have our children in the schools would that help in any way

1. For citizenship, they count the nights that you stayed in Canada so if you left for a trip today and come back tomorrow, you have been gone for 1 day. This is not like the PR residency requirements where any part of a day spent in Canada counts as a day spent in Canada.

2. It might help show your ties with Canada that you are living here now with your family but still, having kids in school is no automatic right to citizenship.

You can use the online citizenship calculator to find out. The days of absence starts from the day you leave and a day before you return to Canada. The other way around works as well. For some reason though, the online citizenship calculator doesn't take into consideration leap days.
