Dear riasath,riasath said:T-12 SELECTION DECISION (SELDEC)
* 1 passed
* 2 passed on discretion
* 3 OIC required (pro-Proclamation cases)
* 4 waived
* 5 failed
* 6 failed on discretion
* 7 withdrawn
* S passed (H & C consideration) (for Refugees only)
Means if I get SELDEC-1, my status is same as someone who has cleared interview (a kind of shortcut)?riasath said:I think it means you have passed the selection decision and your file can go to the next process of MEDDEC ( medical decision )followed by security decision and finally the final decision( FINDEC)
I think when they open the file and everything is in order then you get 1- passed.if clearly failed they use 5- failed. When it is doubtful and VO passes you with his discretion then 2- discretion passed. And if on discretion failed they use 6- discretion failed.If there is need for further documents like PCC from another country which applicant can't produce( eg kazakhastan doesn't issue PCC )then VO can waive it that results in 4 - waived. This is my understanding.lokoloko0 said:Means if I get SELDEC-1, my status is same as someone who has cleared interview (a kind of shortcut)?
Then why not SELDEC-4 ? (which means interview is waived) (Some successful applicants whose cases were finalized, found SELDEC-4 till the end, and they were not called for interview.)

Normally SELDEC 4 is given to those applicants whose file, means arrangement of provided documents, is fantastic. Means your experience letter is all ok asper NOC requirements and there's no further need to check or evaluate. Or you work for top companies such as pepsi, Microsoft or top banks like American Express or Citigroup and probably still employed with them.lokoloko0 said:Hello Experts
